Why the name
“Le Pourquoi Pas”
(“The Why Not”) ?!

We are keeping the name of the establishment given by its creators and predecessors in homage to Jean Baptiste Charcot, a French explorer who crossed the Arctic Circle in 1902 and sailed the polar seas aboard his ship named “Le Pourquoi Pas.”

New Hours:

From December 1st to December 31st, 2025

Our restaurant will be open primarily on weekends in December and for the holiday season:

• Open December 24th & 25th, 2025
• Open December 31st, 2025
• Open January 1st, 2026

We open the restaurant during the week for reservations of more than 8 people.
